The Gospel and the Gettysburg Address Conference (November 1st- 2nd, 2024)
By attending you will learn about how the Bible influenced Abraham Lincoln as a man and as a president. You will learn about the struggles he had with his faith, and gain some insightful knowledge about how the gospel influenced the Gettysburg Address. You will also learn the history of the town of Gettysburg and the impact the battle had on the town. The Good Fight of Faith Conference (May 1st – 3rd, 2025)
You’re invited to join Pastor Cliff Whitehead, a long time student of the Civil War, as he personally guides you through each day of the monumental Battle of Gettysburg. This battle was the largest battle ever fought in the western hemisphere and is considered one of the major turning points of the American Civil War.
We will visit many of the prominent sites and monuments on the Gettysburg Battlefield as part of the tour that will give you a good understanding of the events that took place there on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 1863. There will also be time for you to also explore the historic and charming town of Gettysburg on your own.
The purpose of this retreat is to encourage and prepare each person to “fight the good fight of faith” in the spiritual battle we face every day as believers {2 Timothy 2:3 -4; 1 Timothy 6:12; Ephesians 6:10-18}. In the teaching sessions we will focus on what the scripture teaches about spiritual warfare using the Gettysburg Battle and the battlefield as an object lesson.
